Is PC Migrating Process Secure?
Yes, absolutely.
As far as the PCMover software is concerned, there is no risk involved in transferring files and programs from one computer to another. This is because when a program is selected for transfer, PCMover automatically transfers its program files and registry entries so that there is no chance of losing anything.

On the other hand, as far as the manual file/ program transfer process is concerned, there are several risks involved. For example: a single application has multiple configuration files which are stored in different directories. The user might not able to know & detect all of them and transfer accordingly.
